Job summary

Calusa Country Club in Bradenton, FL is seeking a Full-Time Maintenance Staff member to perform daily repairs and maintenance for offices, public spaces, restrooms, and grounds. Responsibilities

• Performs general repairs and maintenance for all areas with in the operation including electrical, mechanical, and structural aspects of buildings and grounds.
• Maintains cleanliness and appearance of exterior areas, including trash removal, sweeping, and arranging outdoor furniture.
• Maintains interior cleanliness and appearance, including trash, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and furniture arrangement.
• Identifies and reports to supervisor when supplies are needed.
• Ensures regular and reliable attendance.
• Performs other duties as required.

General Purpose:

Provides daily repair and maintenance services for all aspects of the operation, including offices, public spaces, restroom facilities, grounds and other areas as required. Will also include small installation projects for new amenities.

• Performs general repairs and maintenance for all areas with in the operation including but not limited to: electrical, mechanical, and structural aspects of the buildings and grounds.


• Maintains cleanliness and appearance of exterior of the facility including but not limited to: emptying trash cans and ashtrays, sweeping walkways, picking up litter or construction trash in common areas, and arranging outdoor furniture.


• Maintains cleanliness and appearance of interior areas of the facility including but not limited to: emptying trash cans and ashtrays, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and arranging furniture.


• Identify and report to supervisor when supplies are needed.


• Regular and reliable attendance.


• Performs other duties as required.

Education/Experience:

Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Physical Demands:

Frequently uses hands, reaches with hands and arms. Regularly climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crouches, crawls, stands, walks, sits. Frequently lifts or carries up to 50 pounds.

Occasionally works in wet or humid conditions, near moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles. Frequently works in outdoor weather conditions. Noise level is moderate.
