Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Maintenance Sr. Technician to maintain medium to large-sized buildings, industrial systems, and equipment. This role supports preventive maintenance, repairs, and system operations within CBRE's Engineering and Technical Services group.

The successful candidate will perform inspections, diagnose issues, and assist with equipment installations while adhering to safety codes and CBRE standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or trade school diploma with 2-3 years of job-related experience.
• Ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs or more.
• Ability to use existing procedures to solve standard problems.
• Experience with analyzing information and standard practices to make judgments.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational skills and inquisitive mindset.

As a CBRE Maintenance Sr. Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining medium to large‑sized buildings, industrial systems, and equipment. This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.

What You’ll Do

• Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repair on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
• Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.
• Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Assign work orders and estimate the time and materials needed to complete repairs.
• Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently.

• Have some knowledge of standard principles with limited practical experience in applying them.

What You’ll Need

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 2-3 years of job‑related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
• Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
• Ability to use existing procedures to solve standard problems.
• Experience with analyzing information and standard practices to make judgments.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
• Organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.

The minimum salary for the Maintenance Sr Technician position is $23.80 per hour and the maximum salary for the Maintenance Sr Technician position is $34.13 per hour. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
