Job summary

AFE in Colorado is seeking an assistant to support our facility maintenance team with plumbing, electrical, carpentry and other basic tasks. The role may include snow removal and related district services, with a shift from Monday to Thursday, 7am to 12pm.

Ideal candidates will know safe maintenance practices, follow instructions, handle common hand and power tools, and lift 50–75 pounds regularly while maintaining clear communication with customers and using basic computer systems.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of safe maintenance practices.
• Ability to follow instructions and stay on task.
• Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools for basic repairs.
• Be able to lift 50–75 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to work in adverse conditions and short timetables.
• Good customer service and communication skills.
• Basic computer skills and ability to use workflow software.

This role provides assistance to full-time facility maintenance specialists in their day-to-day duties. Job duties will include assisting in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and other basic maintenance tasks.

• May assist in snow removal, or other tasks within District Services.
• The schedule for this position is Monday-Thursday 7am-12pm.

• Knowledge of safe maintenance practices.

• Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools necessary to perform basic carpentry, electrical, mechanical & plumbing repairs / maintenance work.
• Be able to lift 50 – 75 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally.

• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to navigate and operate workflow computer management software(s).
