Job summary

Colorado Psychiatric is seeking a part-time maintenance support worker to assist licensed facility maintenance specialists across plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and related tasks.

The role involves snow removal when needed and supports District Services. Expect a Monday-Thursday 7am-12pm schedule and adherence to safety and workflow procedures.

• Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools necessary to perform basic carpentry, electrical, mechanical & plumbing repairs / maintenance work.

Job description

This role provides assistance to full-time facility maintenance specialists in their day-to-day duties. Job duties will include assisting in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and other basic maintenance tasks.

• May assist in snow removal, or other tasks within District Services.
• The schedule for this position is Monday-Thursday 7am-12pm.

• Knowledge of safe maintenance practices.
• Ability to follow instructions and stay on task.
• Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools necessary to perform basic carpentry, electrical, mechanical & plumbing repairs / maintenance work.
• Be able to lift 50 – 75 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to work in adverse conditions and work on short timetables.
• Good customer service and communication skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to navigate and operate workflow computer management software(s).
