Job summary

Apex Park and Recreation District is seeking an on-site maintenance helper to assist full‑time facility maintenance specialists with plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and other basic tasks. The role includes supporting snow removal and other district services as needed, with a consistent Monday–Thursday 7am–12pm schedule.

The ideal candidate will follow safety practices, operate hand/power tools, and maintain good customer service.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of safe maintenance practices.
• Ability to follow instructions and stay on task.
• Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools necessary to perform basic carpentry, electrical, mechanical & plumbing repairs / maintenance work.
• Must possess current and valid Colorado driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Assist in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and basic maintenance tasks.
• May assist in snow removal, or other tasks within District Services.
• The schedule for this position is Monday-Thursday 7am-12pm.
