Capstone Copper Pinto Valley is seeking a Maintenance Specialist to lead maintenance optimization and lubrication standardization at the Pinto Valley Mine site, working with maintenance, operations, supply chain, and engineering teams. The role focuses on reducing downtime, improving efficiency, and ensuring safety and quality across maintenance workflows.

You will drive continuous improvement, apply lean and reliability tools, and collaborate with contractors and suppliers to deliver reliable

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• 3 years in mechanical, electrical, planning, reliability, operations, mining, processing.
• Experience in mining environments; knowledge of safety protocols.
• Proficient in reliability concepts (RCM, FMEA); maintenance KPIs.
• Lean Maintenance methods (TPM, SMED, 5S) knowledge.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; good communication.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Identify and optimize maintenance opportunities for efficiency.
• Lead standardization of lubrication practices.
• Monitor short-term downtimes and analyze downtime data.
• Collaborate with maintenance, operations, supply chain, assets & engineering.
• Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and consultants.
• Support complex troubleshooting and continuous improvement.
