Capstone Copper Corp. in Globe-Miami, AZ is seeking a Maintenance Performance & Continuous Improvement Specialist to optimize maintenance expenditures, improve forecasting accuracy, and ensure budget compliance across Mine and Process Maintenance.

The role delivers analytical insights, develops dashboards, and partners with Supply Chain and Finance to drive cost control and reliability improvements. The position emphasizes safety, asset management, and cross-functional collaboration, with MSHA

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Reliability Engineering, Mining Engineering, or related discipline.
Minimum five (5) years of experience in maintenance planning, reliability engineering, maintenance cost control, continuous improvement, or related functions within mining or heavy industrial operations.
Strong understanding of asset management principles, including ISO 55000 standards and maintenance best practices.
Experience managing maintenance budgets, forecasts, contracts, and performance metrics.
Proficiency with CMMS, preferably SAP.
Advanced Excel skills, including financial modeling and data analysis.
Experience developing dashboards and reports using Power BI or similar BI tools.
Certification in Asset Management, Reliability, Lean, Six Sigma, or Continuous Improvement methodologies.
Excellent written and verbal communication and the ability to influence across departments.

Responsibilities

Demonstrate company values and promote a strong safety culture in all work activities.
Comply with MSHA regulations, site safety standards, environmental requirements, and company policies.
Develop and maintain performance dashboards and reporting tools using Power BI.
Lead weekly, monthly, and annual financial reporting, including variance analysis and KPI tracking.
Support month-end close activities, ensuring accurate cost allocation and reporting.
Monitor maintenance contracts for scope, cost, schedule compliance, and renewal requirements.
Coordinate with Supply Chain and Finance to improve contracting strategies and cost controls.
Ensure timely processing and reconciliation of purchase orders, service entries, and supplier invoices.
