Job summary

Capstone Copper is seeking a Mine Maintenance Technician 2 at Pinto Valley to support preventive maintenance and basic repairs on mine mobile equipment. You will assist experienced mechanics, maintain shop cleanliness, and follow established procedures in a dynamic mining environment.

The role emphasizes hands-on experience and development within the Fleet Maintenance technician program, under experienced supervision to progress in skills and competency.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and comprehend written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to speak and write English clearly and effectively.
• Commitment to safe work practices and maintaining a safe work environment.

Responsibilities

• Wash, pressure wash, and steam clean mobile equipment before maintenance and inspections.
• Maintain housekeeping standards in Fleet Maintenance shops and areas.
• Assist mechanics with basic and non-technical maintenance tasks and basic electrical troubleshooting under supervision.
