Job summary

Goodwill of North Georgia is seeking a Maintenance Specialist to upkeep store and center facilities, including repairs to structures and equipment. Responsibilities cover compliance with codes, logging repairs, and safety inspections.

The role requires reading blueprints, teamwork, flexibility in hours including nights/weekends, and a valid driver's license. Physical work is involved in a dynamic, multi-site environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Stores, Career Centers, ADC, SSC, and GNG/GING sites per policies.
• Ensure sites comply with ordinances and codes; repairs with permits to standard.
• Repair and maintain plumbing, electrical, and structural components per building codes.
• Maintain light fixtures and ballast as needed.
• Keep repair logs and checklists; close MMS tickets.
• Conduct site safety inspections; estimate labor and repair costs with managers.
• Maintain walls, doors, windows, paint selection and prep.
