Job description


Maintenance Specialist (Full Time)


Our maintenance team is looking for an individual to join the team full-time. Provide maintenance, upkeep, and repair of residential and other properties. The ideal candidate will have considerable knowledge of basic carpentry, painting, plumbing, and mechanical repair. Individuals will be highly organized and must be able to communicate with staff and other members of the agency. The candidate will also be responsible for moving and assisting in the transportation of furniture and equipment; setting up and breaking down desks, and offices, activating and deactivating building emergencies, and responding to emergency calls as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor, evening hours/weekends emergencies. Individuals must also have a strong work ethic and be able to multi-task. The position does involve snow removal during the winter months. The qualified candidate will be exercising discretion in identifying projects that need higher skills, beyond the maintenance team. Theindividual will also need to be able to stand for long periods along with heavy lifting and not be afraid of heights.
