Job summary

Insituform Technologies LLC is seeking a Maintenance Shop Manager in Johnston, RI. You will oversee daily shop operations, lead Rhode Island mechanics, manage maintenance and repairs, and work with operations and vendors to maximize uptime and control costs.

The role reports to the Equipment Manager and includes building a safe, efficient shop culture. The position offers $85,000-$100,000 annually based on experience, with 100% paid on-the-job training, comprehensive benefits, 401k matching,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in equipment maintenance and shop supervision.
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment and interpret wiring diagrams/schematics.
• Strong organizational and recordkeeping skills.
• ASE certification and CDL are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the mechanic team by assigning daily tasks and maintaining a safe, productive work environment.
• Plan and coordinate maintenance and repairs to keep equipment safe and reliable.
• Collaborate with field teams to anticipate needs and minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment, using mechanical knowledge to ensure quality repairs.
• Coordinate with vendors to manage repairs and track progress.
