This is an onsite position located in Shawano, WI, with relocation assistance available.

Weekly Schedule

7:00 AM to 7:00 PM - Friday to Monday. Weekly plant shutdown begins Fridays at 6:00 AM and ends Mondays at 6:00 AM.

Job Summary

The Maintenance Shift Supervisor maintains production equipment, building, and grounds; purchases related materials and services; recommends optimal maintenance strategies; supervises preventative maintenance; and coordinates workflow with vendors, engineering, and projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure availability of parts and materials for production equipment.
• Investigate and resolve equipment issues.
• Maintain and repair equipment, building, and grounds.
• Recommend new equipment or processes for efficiency.
• Train employees on equipment and safety procedures.
• Suggest improvements for plant layout and equipment movement.
• Prepare management reports.
• Stay updated on industry developments.
• Exercise judgment in maintaining and modifying equipment.
• Maintain confidential employee records.
• Utilize personal computers, tools, and measuring equipment.
• Follow environmental, quality, and safety procedures.

Minimum Requirements

• Associate’s Degree in STEM or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of electromechanical experience in manufacturing.
• Supervisory or leadership experience.
• Knowledge of maintenance technology, blueprint reading, and machine repair.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in STEM.
• Experience in foundry or metals industry.
• Experience with CMMS or ERP systems.
• CMRP certification.
• Leadership training and experience managing maintenance costs.
