We’re adding a Maintenance Shift Supervisor to our onsite team in Shawano, WI. Relocation assistance is available.

Weekly Schedule: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday. The weekly plant shutdown begins Fridays at 6:00 AM and ends Mondays at 6:00 AM.

Job Summary

The Maintenance Shift Supervisor will oversee the maintenance of production equipment, building, and grounds, and manage procurement of materials and services. Responsibilities include recommending optimal maintenance strategies, supervising preventative maintenance, coordinating workflow with vendors and engineering, and ensuring quality and efficiency.

Daily Responsibilities
  • Ensure availability of parts and materials for production.
  • Investigate equipment issues and recommend corrective actions.
  • Maintain and improve production equipment, facilities, and related services.
  • Propose new equipment or process improvements.
  • Train employees on equipment operation and safety procedures.
  • Suggest plant layout improvements and facilitate equipment movement.
  • Prepare management reports as needed.
  • Stay updated on industry developments.
  • Exercise judgment in maintaining, repairing, and modifying equipment within policies.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive data.
  • Utilize personal computers, tools, and fabrication equipment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Adhere to Environmental, Quality, and Safety procedures.
Qualifications
  • Associate’s Degree in STEM or equivalent experience.
  • Over 3 years of electromechanical experience in manufacturing.
  • Previous supervisory experience.
  • Strong knowledge of maintenance technology, blueprint reading, and machine repair.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in STEM.
  • Experience in foundry or metals industry.
  • Knowledge of CMMS or ERP systems, CMRP certification.
  • Experience managing maintenance costs and leading teams.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
