This onsite position is located in Shawano, WI, with relocation assistance available.

Weekly Schedule: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday.

Weekly plant shutdown: Begins Fridays at 6:00 AM and ends Mondays at 6:00 AM.

Job Summary

The Maintenance Shift Supervisor will oversee the maintenance of production equipment, building, and grounds, manage procurement of related materials, and recommend improvements for equipment and plant layout. Responsibilities include supervising preventative maintenance, coordinating workflow with vendors and engineering, and ensuring quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain materials flow and inventory for production.
• Investigate equipment issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain equipment, building, and grounds; procure materials and services.
• Recommend new equipment or processes to enhance efficiency.
• Ensure employee training on equipment and safety procedures.
• Suggest plant layout improvements and facilitate equipment movement.
• Prepare management reports as needed.
• Stay updated on industry developments.
• Exercise judgment in maintaining and repairing equipment within policies.
• Handle confidential employee data appropriately.
• Utilize personal computers, tools, and measurement equipment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Adhere to Environmental, Quality, and Safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in STEM or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years electromechanical manufacturing experience.
• Previous supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of maintenance technology, blueprint reading, machine repair, hydraulics, welding, and pipe fitting.
• Strong communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in STEM.
• Experience in foundry or metals industry.
• Experience with CMMS or ERP systems.
• CMRP Certification.
• Leadership training and experience managing departmental costs.
