Our beautiful apartment community in Cabot, Arkansas is seeking a skilled and experienced Apartment Maintenance Service Technician to join our maintenance team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands‑on maintenance professional with strong HVAC and general repair knowledge who enjoys a varied workday and takes pride in providing residents with a well‑maintained community. As a key member of the onsite team, you will be responsible for completing service requests, apartment make‑readies, preventative maintenance, repairs, and emergency maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and repairs throughout the apartment community.
- Respond to service requests promptly and efficiently, with the goal of completing requests within one business day under normal circumstances.
- Complete apartment make‑readies, including debris removal, repairs, replacements, painting, lock and key rotation, and inspections.
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems, appliances, plumbing, electrical components, and other property systems.
- Perform preventative maintenance and complete required quarterly and semi‑annual maintenance reports.
- Perform maintenance and operational tasks on swimming pool equipment.
- Complete interior and exterior painting as needed.
- Maintain an organized, clean, inventoried, and adequately stocked maintenance shop.
- Ensure appropriate supplies are available for make‑readies, service requests, and routine maintenance.
- Provide technical guidance to other maintenance personnel as needed.
- Identify maintenance concerns and assist with maintaining the overall condition and appearance of the community.
- Participate in the 24‑hour emergency maintenance on‑call rotation.
- Perform additional maintenance duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of related maintenance experience preferred.
- HVAC and/or EPA certification preferred.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC troubleshooting and repair.
- Working knowledge of electrical systems and mechanical appliance repair.
- Basic competency in:
- Electrical
- Refrigeration
- Plumbing
- Carpentry
- Appliance repair
- Irrigation systems
- Pool operation and maintenance experience preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a maintenance team.
- Dependable with a professional attitude and strong customer‑service skills.
- Must be available for on‑call emergency maintenance.
Physical Requirements
- Lift and move objects weighing up to 75 pounds.
- Bend, stoop, kneel, and twist into small or confined areas.
- Reach overhead for extended periods while performing repairs.
- Safely perform physical maintenance tasks throughout the apartment community.

Salary: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
