RichSmith Development in Springdale, AR is seeking an Apartment Maintenance Service Technician to maintain and repair apartments, buildings, common areas, and grounds. Experience with HVAC or EPA certification is preferred, and the ability to handle on-call emergencies is essential.

Qualifications

• HVAC/EPA certification preferred.
• 3+ years of maintenance experience (multifamily housing preferred).
• Hands-on skills in HVAC troubleshooting, electrical & mechanical systems, plumbing, carpentry, appliance repair and irrigation.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily maintenance and repairs for apartments, buildings, common areas, breezeways, irrigation systems and grounds.
• Complete service requests within one business day when possible.
• Perform make-ready duties in vacant apartments and coordinate with vendors for flooring, cleaning and repairs.
• Maintain a clean, organized maintenance shop.
• Participate in rotating on-call schedule for 24-hour emergency maintenance.
• Maintain professional and courteous interactions with residents and team members.

What You'll Do

What We're Looking For

• HVAC or EPA certification preferred
• Pool maintenance experience a plus
• 3+ years of maintenance experience (preferably in multifamily housing)
• Knowledge of and hands-on skills in:
  • HVAC troubleshooting & repairs
  • Electrical & mechanical systems
  • Plumbing, carpentry, appliance repair, and irrigation systems
• Ability to work in an on-call rotation and handle emergency maintenance needs

Physical Requirements

• Lift objects up to 75 lbs
• Bend, stoop, twist, and reach into small or overhead spaces as needed
• Stand and walk for extended periods across property grounds

Requirements

• Must be able to pass a criminal background check.

Salary

Salary: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
