Job summary

Rich Smith Management at Valley Estates of Mabelvale in Mabelvale, AR is seeking an Apartment Service Technician. You will perform daily maintenance, respond to service requests, and ensure a safe, well-kept community for residents.

The role is safety-sensitive and reports to the Community Manager. Responsibilities include landscaping, pool care, preventive maintenance, and prep work for apartment turn-overs, with opportunities to grow within a professional property management team.

Qualifications

• HVAC or EPA certification preferred.
• Pool maintenance experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of multifamily maintenance experience focusing on repairs, customer service, upkeep.
• Strong knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliance repair.

Responsibilities

• Completing all service requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Maintaining landscaping, pool care, and grounds upkeep.

Position Overview

This is a Safety Sensitive Position - The essential functions, physical demands, and mental competencies of this job require the employee to maintain the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.

The Service Technician reports directly to the Community Manager and is responsible for the daily maintenance operations of the property, including:

• Completing all service requests in a timely and professional manner
• Maintaining landscaping, pool care, and grounds upkeep
• Performing preventive maintenance tasks and inspections
• Supporting turn-key operations for apartment make-readies
