Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to oversee and perform skilled building maintenance across amenities, grounds, and interiors. You will diagnose and repair resident requests, manage the make-ready process for new move-ins, and uphold Greystar quality standards across all common areas.

Responsibilities

• Assists and completes work orders from resident requests and routine upkeep by diagnosing defects and making repairs according to policies and safety standards.
• Oversees and completes the make-ready process to prepare vacant apartments for leasing, including pre-move-out inspections, punch lists, scheduling vendors, and ensuring timely completion.
• Develops standards for cleanliness and appearance of grounds, amenities, and common areas to reflect Greystar quality.
• Periodically inspects work by service team members to ensure policy adherence and corrective action as needed.
• Inspects work by contractors and vendors to verify quality, scope, and specifications.
• Maintains inventory of spare parts and materials, and coordinates with Community Manager to order supplies within budget.
• Performs monthly preventative maintenance procedures as outlined in policy.
• Supports cost-control by repairing instead of replacing when feasible.
• Leads safety meetings and ensures OSHA and MSDS compliance.
• Provides excellent customer service to residents, handling questions and complaints efficiently.
