Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Maintenance Sr. Technician to maintain medium to large buildings and industrial systems. You will support preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, and repair equipment to ensure reliability and safety across facilities.

The role requires hands-on experience, the ability to work with standard procedures, and a proactive approach to energy efficiency and compliance with codes and CBRE values.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or trade school with 2–3 years of related experience.
• In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
• Must meet physical requirements: stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, lift/carry 50 lbs+.

Responsibilities

About the Role:As a CBRE Maintenance Sr. Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining medium to large-sized buildings, industrial systems, and equipment.This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.

What You'll Do

• Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repair on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
• Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.
• Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Assign work orders and estimate the time and materials needed to complete repairs.
• Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently.
• Inspect new installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
• Have some knowledge of standard principles with limited practical experience in applying them.
• Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.
• Impact the quality of own work.
• Work within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
• Exchange straightforward information, ask questions, and check for understanding.

• Ability to use existing procedures to solve standard problems.
• Experience with analyzing information and standard practices to make judgments.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
• Organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.
