Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Maintenance Sr. Technician to service medium to large buildings and industrial systems. The role focuses on preventive maintenance, basic plumbing, low-voltage work, and carpentry, with a Monday–Friday day shift.

You will assign work orders, inspect installations, and ensure building systems run efficiently while adhering to CBRE RISE values and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 2-3 years of job-related experience.
• Certifications in the field are preferred.
• Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
• Ability to use existing procedures to solve standard problems.
• Experience with analyzing information and standard practices to make judgments.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
• Organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Inspect new installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
• Have some knowledge of standard principles with limited practical experience in applying them.
• Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.
• Impact the quality of own work.
• Work within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
• Exchange straightforward information, ask questions, and check for understanding.
