The Ohio Attorney General's Office is seeking a part-time maintenance worker to perform skilled and semi-skilled maintenance, repair and minor installations across plumbing, electrical, carpentry and related systems at the agency's facilities.
Responsibilities include custodial duties, painting, masonry, and operation of machine tools and welding equipment. Prior experience in general maintenance and adaptability is preferred.
Formal education in arithmetic that includes addition and subtraction and in reading, writing and speaking common English vocabulary; 6 months training or 6 months experience in maintenance repair work (e.g., basic electricity, plumbing, carpentry, masonry repair and use of associated hand and power tools and equipment). In accordance with Section 124.11 (B) (2) of Revised Code, Director of Administrative Services has determined this classification to be unskilled labor class and therefore exempt from written examination.
