Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Senior Maintenance & Repair Technician for an onsite role, primarily working from an HPE office. Job Family Definition: Performs repair and maintenance associated with manufacturing and assembly. Troubleshoots problems in non-functioning equipment. Dismantles, adjusts, repairs and assembles equipment according to plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, and/or rough sketches or drawings. May perform equipment modification as directed by test/manufacturing engineers.
Management Level Definition: Applies extensive knowledge of the job skills, company policies and procedures to complete complex, specialized assignments/tasks in creative and effective ways. Comprehensive understanding of the general/technical aspects of the job. Works on assignments that are complex in nature and require initiative and technical/specialized knowledge to resolve problems and/or develop recommended solutions. Work is completed with minimal supervision, and assignments may be completed without established procedures. May determine methods and procedures for new assignments. Typically provides guidance to other non-exempt employees.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
15 years of manufacturing experience.
Familiarity with calibration and preventive maintenance execution processes.
Working knowledge in the field of electromechanical technology and software.
Experience using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
Ability to read and interpret technical documents, schematics and equipment manuals.
Knowledge of ISO 9001, OSHA, IPC-A-610 or other regulatory standards.
Document Control: Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and CMMS platforms. Managing SOPs, logs, and compliance records with accuracy and version control.
Data Entry & Reporting: Ability to navigate and input data into CMMS/ERP software, such as work orders, preventive maintenance schedules, and asset tracking. Creating detailed reports on maintenance performance, cost tracking, and operational improvements.
Inventory Management: Tracking spare parts and equipment to ensure the right resources are available when needed.
Compliance and Safety Procedures: Understanding and following industry regulations, workplace safety protocols, and equipment standards.
Data Analysis: Reviewing maintenance logs to identify recurring issues, optimize preventive maintenance, and improve equipment efficiency.
Communication Skills: Keeping clear and professional interactions with vendors, supervisors, and team members for effective problem-solving and workflow management.
Lean Manufacturing: Implementing lean manufacturing principles to improve efficiency and reduce waste. (CAPA’s)
Intermediate Skills in performing regular maintenance and calibrations to prevent equipment failures and ensure optimal operation.
