Job summary

Oshkosh AeroTech is seeking a Maintenance Repair Technician I to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair PLC-controlled conveyor and baggage systems at an airport setting. You will work with mechanical and electrical systems, ensuring safety and operational excellence in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires basic to intermediate repair skills, a valid driver's license, and the ability to obtain airport security clearances.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain airport security clearances.
• Basic to intermediate mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic repair skills.
• 1+ years of maintenance operations experience.
• Availability to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain PLC-controlled baggage and conveyor systems to ensure smooth airport operations.
• Service and repair PLC-driven conveyor and baggage systems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.
• Operate equipment such as forklifts, golf carts, and company vehicles.
• Respond to maintenance calls and assist in clearing baggage jams.
• Comply with company safety program and trainings.
