Job summary

Oshkosh AeroTech, an Oshkosh company, seeks an MRT I for on-site maintenance at the Orlando International Airport. You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain PLC-controlled baggage and conveyor systems and support ramp operations. The role requires reading schematics, operating airport equipment, and adherence to safety programs.

High school diploma or GED, 1+ year maintenance experience, and valid driver’s license are required. Weekend/holiday shifts and airport badge eligibility apply.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Valid Driver's License.
• 1+ years' experience in maintenance operations.
• Industrial electrical experience; 3 phase motors and 480v.
• Mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic repair skills.
• Familiarity with airport operations a plus.
• Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics.
• Able to be badged to work in secure airport areas.
• Able to work 1st or 2nd shift including weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance of PLC controlled baggage, conveyor systems, and related equipment.
• Provide concise, accurate data for input of maintenance information.
• Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair.
• Drive and operate equipment such as golf cart, forklift, etc.
• Support operations with clearing bag jams.
• Input maintenance data into the computerized maintenance management system.
• Respond to maintenance calls as required.
• Adhere to safety program and trainings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
