Job summary

Oshkosh AeroTech, located at Miami International Airport, seeks a maintenance technician to diagnose and repair PLC-controlled baggage and conveyor systems. You’ll input maintenance data into the CMMS and perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic repairs.

Applicants should have 3–5 years’ experience with Jet Bridges/PBBs, the ability to work 1st or 2nd shift including weekends, and be able to obtain an airport badge. Join a safety‑forward team delivering reliable airport operations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred
• 3–5 years’ experience with Jet Bridges/PBBs
• 1+ years’ experience in maintenance operations
• Ability to obtain airport badge and work on 1st/2nd shift
• Comfortable working around airport ramp equipment

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair PLC baggage/conveyor systems.
• Input maintenance data accurately into CMMS.
• Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic repairs.
• Operate equipment such as golf carts, forklifts, and other vehicles.
• Support operations by clearing bag jams and assisting with data input.
