Job summary

MediLodge of Alpena is seeking a Maintenance Crew member to support building upkeep and safety. You will perform routine maintenance and coordinate repairs to ensure a safe, comfortable environment for residents and staff.

Responsibilities include HVAC and equipment maintenance, inspections, and assisting with painting, carpentry, and grounds upkeep. High school diploma preferred; at least one year experience in maintenance recommended.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year experience in building maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine maintenance and repair to keep building and equipment in good working order.
• Monitors renovations, remodeling or contractor projects.
• Under supervision, maintains and repairs HVAC, refrigerators, boilers, washers and dryers, and other equipment.
• Participates in painting, redecorating, carpentry, concrete and masonry projects.
• Conducts and documents routine inspection of fire control equipment and sprinkler systems.
• Maintains facility logs for safety compliance and surveys.
• Coordinates monthly fire drills.
• Inspects grounds and maintains landscaping.
• Performs other tasks as assigned.
