Job summary

MediLodge seeks a Maintenance - Renovation Crew member to support aging facilities across North Michigan by performing a range of maintenance and renovation tasks. This role requires extensive travel to different MediLodge locations and a commitment to keeping buildings and grounds in top condition.

Typical duties include painting, carpentry, concrete and masonry work, and routine repairs. The successful candidate will have experience in building maintenance and a heart for serving the elderly

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year experience in building renovation maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine maintenance and repairs to keep buildings and equipment in good working order.
• Monitors renovations, remodeling, or replacement projects by contractors.
• Participates in painting, redecorating, carpentry, concrete and masonry projects.
• Performs other tasks as assigned.

Essential Functions

• Performs routine maintenance and repair required to keep the building and equipment in good working order.
• Monitors building and equipment renovations, remodeling or replacement projects done by contractors.
• Participates in painting, redecorating, carpentry, concrete and masonry projects.
• Performs other tasks as assigned.

• Minor Carpentry – door and hardware replacement, cabinet installation, ceiling tile, handrails, wall brackets, handicap grab bars, minor trim
