Job summary

Georgia-Pacific's Brunswick Cellulose facility in Georgia is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead a transformational turnaround and drive operational excellence across maintenance, operations, and engineering teams.

You will develop a comprehensive maintenance execution strategy to minimize downtime, establish KPIs, supervise a skilled team, and partner with reliability experts to implement preventive and predictive programs that maximize asset utilization and safety.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in maintenance of facilities and engineering systems.
• 5+ years of supervisory/management experience.
• Proficiency with maintenance reporting systems and MS Word/Excel.
• Ability to read mechanical, structural and electrical drawings.
• Experience with RCA or similar problem-solving tools.
• Process optimization and plant support experience.
• Experience leading organizational change initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead organizational change and reliability efforts to improve operations.
• Engage maintenance, operations and engineering teams during transformation.
• Develop and implement a maintenance execution strategy to reduce downtime.
• Establish KPIs to measure maintenance effectiveness.
• Plan and execute turnaround projects to boost plant performance.
• Monitor progress and implement corrective actions during turnarounds.
• Implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to mitigate risks.
• Support root cause analysis and long-term reliability improvements.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to optimize maintenance strategies.
