Job summary

Georgia-Pacific LLC is seeking a Maintenance Manager at the Brunswick Cellulose facility to lead a transformative turnaround, drive reliability and operational excellence, and align maintenance with the plant’s strategic vision.

The role requires 5+ years in maintenance leadership, strong RCA and process optimization experience, and the ability to manage complex turnarounds with cross-functional teams. Join a premier pulp and paper operation in Georgia.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in maintenance of facilities and engineering systems.
• 5+ years of supervisory/management experience.
• Ability to read mechanical, structural and electrical drawings.
• 4+ years using RCA or other problem-solving tools.
• Experience in process optimization and plant support.
• 5+ years leading organizational change initiatives across departments.

Responsibilities

• Lead organizational change and reliability efforts to improve operations.
• Drive engagement of maintenance, operations, and engineering teams to support the transformation.
• Develop and implement maintenance execution strategy to minimize downtime and maximize asset utilization.
• Establish KPIs to track maintenance initiatives.
• Plan, coordinate and execute turnaround projects to optimize maintenance activities.
• Monitor and report progress during turnaround and implement corrective actions.
• Work with maintenance and engineering to implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Collaborate with SMEs to mitigate critical failure modes.
• Support RCA and reliability initiatives for recurring equipment failures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize maintenance strategies.
• Provide leadership to embrace disciplined operations per the mill's vision.
