Job summary

Georgia-Pacific is seeking an Utilities and Outage Maintenance Leader for the Brunswick Cellulose facility. You will lead maintenance and reliability across recovery, power, recausticizing, and waste-treatment operations, owning the mill-wide outage-planning process.

You will partner with operations, engineering, procurement, and maintenance to improve equipment reliability, safety, and cost efficiency while delivering predictable outages and strong field execution.

Qualifications

• Experience leading maintenance or reliability improvement in a continuous-process manufacturing environment.
• Experience planning and executing major outages, turnarounds, or complex maintenance events.
• Experience applying preventive and predictive maintenance, root-cause analysis, and reliability-improvement methods.
• Experience using a CMMS/EAM for maintenance planning, scheduling, prioritization, and reporting.
• Experience managing maintenance or outage budgets with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance and reliability for recovery, power, recausticizing, and waste-treatment operations.
• Lead mill-wide outage planning and execution, including scope, priorities, schedules, material readiness, startup, and post-outage review.
• Build and execute maintenance and asset strategies to improve safety, reliability, availability, and lifecycle cost.
• Strengthen planning and scheduling, preventive/predictive maintenance, and root-cause analysis.
• Identify equipment risks with operations/engineering and prioritize repairs and capital needs.
• Manage maintenance/outage budgets, contractor oversight, scope changes, and safety standards.
