Job summary

Georgia-Pacific LLC is seeking a Maintenance Manager for the Clarendon OSB facility in Alcolu, SC. You will lead the maintenance department, drive reliability initiatives, and optimize asset strategies to maximize uptime and lifecycle performance.

In this role you will coach technicians and planners, partner with operations to improve backlog health, and ensure adherence to GP Operating and Maintenance Standards.

Qualifications

• Supervisory/management experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Experience using CMMS for maintenance management.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel) for reports and analysis.
• Knowledge of PLCs, conveyors, breakers, wood-fired furnaces, hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Experience leading Reliability, Predictive and Preventive Maintenance improvements.
• Ability to read mechanical, electrical, and structural drawings.
• Knowledge of OSB or wood products manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to the maintenance department to meet safety, quality, cost, and customer service goals.
• Lead and support preventive maintenance programs and troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
• Champion safety and ensure safe work practices across the mill.
• Develop maintenance strategies and manage within budgets.
• Collaborate with other mill leaders to improve asset availability and lifecycle performance.
• Mentor and develop technicians and planners to improve skills.
• Promote Principles-Based Management and drive cultural improvements.
