Job summary

Georgia-Pacific is seeking an Electrical Superintendent for its Clarendon OSB facility in Alcolu, South Carolina. This role leads the plant electrical and instrumentation maintenance function, supervises electrical and support personnel, and helps drive safe, reliable, and efficient operations in one of Georgia-Pacific's newer OSB manufacturing facilities.

Qualifications

Three (3) years supervisory experience in heavy industrial electrical maintenance.
Experience with 480V three-phase motor controls; 4160V a plus.
Experience with plant electrical distribution and CMMS.
Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office and PC-based systems.
Working knowledge of HMI systems and industrial process controls.
Experience with Allen-Bradley PLC platforms and VFDs.
Knowledge of instrumentation (flow, pressure, temp).
Knowledge of electrical safe work practices (NFPA 70E).
Strong troubleshooting and ability to read electrical/mechanical drawings.

Responsibilities

Plan, direct, and guide the electrical/instrumentation maintenance department goals.
Develop objectives and respond to short- and long-term mill goals.
Provide leadership to ensure safety, reliability, quality, cost, and service.
Lead preventive maintenance and troubleshoot to minimize downtime.
Explain how work impacts customers, spending, reliability and profitability.
Apply Koch PBM philosophy to achieve superior results.
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory policies.
Promote electrical safe work practices (Lock-Tag-Verify, NFPA 70E).
