Job summary

Crocs is seeking a Maintenance Leader in Vandalia, OH to drive the maintenance and reliability strategy for uptime, safety, and cost predictability. You will own work management processes, track KPIs, and ensure CMMS integrity while leading a cross-functional team of technicians and contractors.

You will manage budgets, coordinate with property management, and partner with Operations, IT/OT, Safety, Finance, HR, and Procurement to execute capital plans and continual improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years in maintenance leadership within distribution, logistics, manufacturing, or industrial settings.
• Proven ability to lead a site maintenance organization and manage KPIs.
• Strong knowledge of automated MHE and industrial systems.
• Proficiency with CMMS platforms for work orders, PM scheduling and reporting.
• Experience managing maintenance budgets and vendor spend.
• Background in facility and building systems management with landlords coordination.
• Strong knowledge of safety standards (LOTO, NFPA 70E, OSHA).
• Experience in large automated distribution centers or multi-vendor environments.
• Exposure to reliability methodologies (RCM, TPM, Six Sigma).
• Experience developing technician skills and cross-functional capability.

Responsibilities

• Lead and improve site maintenance and reliability strategy to maximize uptime and safety.
• Own work management processes: intake, planning, scheduling, and documentation.
• Track KPI performance and translate data into actionable improvements with teams.
• Maintain CMMS data integrity for assets, PMs, and downtime tracking.
• Manage vendors, OEMs, and contractors with clear scopes and safety compliance.
• Develop a high-performing maintenance team through hiring, training, and coaching.
• Lead incident response with root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Support capital planning with cost estimates and business case development.
• Oversee building and grounds maintenance and coordinate with property management.
• Collaborate with Operations, IT/OT, Safety, Finance, HR, and Procurement on priorities.
• Optimize spare parts and storeroom operations to improve uptime.
• Provide clear updates to stakeholders on performance and risks.
• Drive adoption of CMMS discipline and enterprise maintenance standards.
