Job summary

Crocs in Vandalia, OH is seeking Maintenance Technicians across levels I–IV to support a highly automated distribution center. Roles involve escalation of complex failures, diagnostics on AS/RS and sortation, and hands-on fabrication for reliability and safety.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED; advanced technical education preferred.
7+ years of progressive industrial maintenance in automated environments.
Hands-on with automated material handling systems and diagnostics.
Strong electrical, controls, and facility systems background.
Demonstrated technical leadership and mentoring capability.
Proficiency with CMMS systems and maintenance documentation discipline.
Military experience in relevant fields is considered equivalent.
Experience with reliability methods or predictive maintenance tools.

Responsibilities

Serve as final escalation point for complex automation, controls, and facility failures.
Lead advanced diagnostics on AS/RS, sortation, and related systems.
Provide troubleshooting for power distribution, dock systems, and building systems.
Perform light-to-medium fabrication and repair to support reliability and safety.
Coordinate vendor work for specialized maintenance tasks as needed.
Partner with Controls Engineering on system diagnostics and safe recovery.
Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions with measurable outcomes.
Review preventive maintenance strategies and documentation standards.
Develop technical standards and training content to elevate capability.
Mentor Technician I–III and guide complex troubleshooting in real time.
