Job summary

Avantor in Phillipsburg, NJ is seeking a Senior Manager, Maintenance and Reliability Engineering to lead the Maintenance & Reliability team. You will direct performance of plant equipment maintenance across mechanical, electrical, and controls, and monitor outages to meet targets.

You will establish and administer the site Operations and Maintenance budget, partner with SLT, and drive continuous improvement, safety, and regulatory compliance across the facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in maintenance or equipment repair in manufacturing or chemical industries.
• Knowledge of OSHA PSM, cGMPs, EPA, DOT and related guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Maintenance & Reliability team and oversee plant equipment maintenance (mechanical, electrical, controls).
• Monitor outages, ensure targets are met, and manage the site budget.
• Establish policies, procedures, and standards for reliability and maintenance.
• Coordinate with SLT and cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and safety.
