Job summary

FedEx Group is seeking a maintenance supervisor to lead a technical team in a fast-paced logistics environment. The role focuses on ensuring reliable operation of electrical and mechanical systems, including conveyors and power transmission components, while driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Ideal candidates will have a strong maintenance background, hands-on PLC/controls experience, and proven leadership.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; some college/technical training preferred.
• Associate degree in a light industrial field such as electrical/mechanical engineering tech, logistics management, or related area preferred.
• Two (2) years of industrial maintenance experience required, plus six (6) (or four (4) years with relevant degree) of combined maintenance and/or people management experience.
• Preferred experience includes leading project teams, mechanical/electrical power transmission, and implementing QA-driven improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead a maintenance/production team to meet daily goals and safety standards.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical systems, including conveyors and power transmission components.
• Interpret electrical/mechanical schematics and control diagrams; work with PLC and machine controls.
• Develop and implement improvements using Quality-driven methodology (QDM).
• Coordinate training, scheduling, and performance coaching for team members.
