Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; an Associate’s degree in a relevant technical field preferred.
• Two years industrial maintenance experience required, plus six years with degree (or four years with relevant degree) of combined industrial maintenance and/or people management experience.
• Experience leading project teams and knowledge of mechanical power transmission and/or electrical power or machine controls; demonstrated ability to implement quality-driven improvements.

Responsibilities

• Coach and develop staff; manage performance and productivity.
• Plan, organize, staff, direct and control day-to-day department operations.
• Ensure compliance and address variances and budget concerns.
• Communicate quality and safety standards aligned with FedEx.
• Oversee CMMS activities and vendor management; provide technical expertise on sortation systems.
