Job summary

SL Tennessee is seeking a maintenance manager to lead the maintenance department, ensuring safety, reliability, and efficiency of all production equipment. The role emphasizes preventive maintenance, downtime reduction, and continuous improvement across mechanical and electrical systems.

You will develop maintenance strategies, supervise technicians, and coordinate with engineering to improve equipment performance and safety across the site in Clinton, Tennessee.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 28 years of experience in equipment maintenance within a SL
• Experience in troubleshooting, repair and preventive maintenance of industrial machinery and systems
• In-depth knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems in industrial facilities
• Ability to interpret technical documents, manuals and engineering drawings
• Strong problem-solving, analytical and decision-making skills

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and executing preventive and corrective maintenance plans.
• Support troubleshooting and timely resolution of equipment and system failures.
• Monitor spare parts inventory, coordinate procurement and ensure availability for critical equipment.
• Provide technical guidance, training and support to maintenance staff.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve equipment reliability and efficiency.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the maintenance manager
