Job summary

SLPT is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead all maintenance and tool room operations within our manufacturing facility. This leadership role ensures equipment reliability, safety compliance, and continuous improvement while developing talent and coordinating with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams.

You will manage maintenance personnel, drive preventive maintenance, oversee contractor work, and uphold Lean practices in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3 to 5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of industrial electrical and mechanical systems.
• Excellent troubleshooting, diagnostic, and root cause analysis skills.
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations, building codes, and workplace safety requirements.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
• Self-starter capable of working effectively with employees, leadership, vendors, and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance and tool room employees to meet operational objectives.
• Coach, mentor, train, and develop team members to maximize performance.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback and development opportunities.
• Manage all maintenance activities related to facility infrastructure, production equipment, utilities, grounds, and building systems.
• Coordinate repairs, upgrades, equipment moves, installations, and removals.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs and lead planning for plant shutdowns.
• Promote a safety-first culture and ensure OSHA and safety standards compliance.
