Job summary

The Judge Group, INC. is seeking a Director of Maintenance for a major facility just outside Plant City, FL. This hands-on leader will guide maintenance, engineering, and reliability across advanced material handling, ASRS, conveyors, robotics, and controls to maximize uptime in a 24/7 operation.

Responsibilities include leading a team, managing budgets, driving safety and continuous improvement, and partnering with operations to optimize throughput and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Maintenance Management, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive maintenance leadership experience in distribution, manufacturing, or automated warehouse environments.
• 5+ years in leadership roles managing managers and large technical teams.
• Experience with highly automated material handling systems and distribution center operations.
• Proven track record of improving equipment reliability, uptime, and maintenance performance.
• Experience managing multimillion-dollar budgets and capital projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive maintenance and reliability strategy for a large-scale automated distribution center.
• Ensure maximum equipment availability and minimize downtime through preventive, predictive, and reliability-centered maintenance programs.
• Lead maintenance operations across all automation systems, material handling equipment, building systems, and facility infrastructure.
• Establish and monitor KPIs including uptime, MTBF, MTTR, maintenance costs, and technician productivity.
• Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions to improve system performance and reliability.
