Job summary

Lake Anna State Park is accepting applications for the Maintenance Ranger position. The Maintenance Ranger is dependable, motivated, and is comfortable working independently. They perform recurring grounds care, maintenance, light construction, and housekeeping of Park facilities, grounds, and swim beach area.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old at start date.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. unassisted.
• Must be able to work outdoors, stand and bend in all weather.
• Detail-oriented, energetic, and dependable.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain restrooms, bathhouses, campsites, rental cabins, and other facilities.
• Mow grass and perform general groundskeeping tasks.
• Remove leaves, trash, and litter from park areas.
• Perform basic maintenance on vehicles, tools, and equipment.
• Work outdoors and in the elements; various shifts including weekends/holidays/evenings.
• Assist with additional maintenance and operational tasks as assigned by supervisors.
