Job summary

Openwork in Lawrenceville, GA is seeking a Maintenance Purchasing & Receiving Coordinator who will act as the liaison between the Maintenance department and vendors, supporting purchasing, receiving, inventory management, and day-to-day operations in a manufacturing setting.

You will count shipments, enter stock, communicate with vendors, provide packing lists to Accounts Payable, and create purchase orders for onsite vendors like Fastenal; a strong eye for detail and physical ability to lift up

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of purchasing procedures, pricing, and market trends.
• Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong computer skills, including word processing, spreadsheets, and purchasing/accounts payable software.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds and regularly climb stairs and maneuver around equipment.

Responsibilities

• Receiving shipments ordered by the Maintenance Manager, counting items, and reporting any missing materials.
• Entering newly received items into stock and maintaining accurate inventory.
• Communicating with vendors by phone and email and following up as needed.
• Providing Accounts Payable with packing lists daily and obtaining missing documentation from vendors.
• Creating purchase orders for onsite vendors such as Fastenal.
• Monitoring material supplies and reporting inventory needs to management.
