Job summary

Shoreline Container in Michigan is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance staff and oversee capital, infrastructure, and continuous improvement projects within a manufacturing setting. You will ensure safe, efficient, on-schedule, and cost-effective maintenance, facilities, and project activities across the plant.

The role emphasizes preventive and predictive maintenance, strong safety leadership, and collaboration with Operations, Engineering, Safety, Environmental, and Purchasing

Qualifications

• 2+ years of maintenance, facilities, or project management experience in manufacturing.
• Experience in a corporate manufacturing structure with cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience in paper, converting, pulp & paper, packaging, or heavy industrial manufacturing preferred.
• Prior supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support maintenance staff and contractors in daily operations and project execution.
• Manage all aspects of maintenance for facilities, including machinery care and facility upkeep.
• Coordinate preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance to maximize uptime.
• Plan and execute capital improvement, infrastructure, and facility projects from concept to completion.
• Monitor project timelines and costs against objectives.
• Coordinate with operations to minimize downtime and production disruptions.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and regulatory requirements.
