Job summary

Casella Waste Systems, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Production Administrator (MPA) to manage parts and inventory in a shop environment. The role emphasizes accurate recordkeeping, warranty processing, and coordinated parts logistics to keep operations running smoothly.

The ideal candidate has a valid driver’s license, strong organization and communication skills, and is able to lift heavy parts. Prior auto/truck parts experience and knowledge of DOT/OSHA requirements are preferred.

Qualifications

• The successful candidate will have a valid driver’s license and be legally eligible to work in the US.
• Ability to prioritize, meet goals and deadlines, and lift parts weighing over 60 pounds.
• Auto or truck parts experience and knowledge of DOT regulations, OSHA compliance, and company regulations are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Murchases and inventory management using the maintenance management software (Transman) and processing repair orders.
• Maintain organized workspace and accurate records per policy and government requirements.
• Conduct physical inventory, place parts orders, coordinate parts pick-up and delivery, and stock inventory.
• Maintain min-max inventory records and ensure clean, organized parts room.
• Process shipping warranties and returns to vendors and manage obsolescence.
• Participate in training and drive company vision, mission, and values.

The Maintenance Production Administrator (MPA) is responsible for parts and inventory management and administration in a shop environment.

Pay Range for this position is $23.58 to $29.47 per hour.

Key Responsibilities

• Makes purchases, manages inventory, completes warranty recovery and repair order processing utilizing out maintenance management software, "Transman."
• Maintains an organized and organized workspace and manages current and accurate records per company policy and the government agencies.
• Executes parts inventory management processes including, conducting physical inventory, parts ordering, reviving, coordination parts pick-up and delivery as well as stocking inventory.
• Maintains records and statistics such as min-max levels for inventory control.
• Ensures organization and cleanliness of parts room.
• Completes shipping warranties and parts returns to vendors.
• Manages parts obsolescence.
• Participates in training and other learning opportunities to expand knowledge of the company, products, sales and services and performs any other duties needed to help drive our vision, fulfill our mission, and/or abide by our core values.

Education, Experience & Qualifications

The successful candidate will have a valid driver’s license, the ability to prioritize and meet goals and deadlines, the ability to lift and carry parts in excess of 60 pounds and be legally eligible to work in the US. Auto or truck parts experience and knowledge of applicable DOT regulations, OSHA compliance, and company regulations are preferred.

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, excellent organizational skills, and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications are required. The ideal candidate will also be a self-directed person with a positive and professional mindset.
