GMH Communities is seeking a Porter in Lexington, KY to maintain grounds and common areas, assist with the Turn and Make Ready process, and respond to work orders. The role emphasizes safety, attention to detail, and resident relations. On-call and weekend hours may be required.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Basic understanding of plumbing.
• A valid driver’s license, good driving record and proof of insurance is required.
• Ability to work independently with attention to detail.
• Basic knowledge of pool upkeep.
• Good interpersonal skills and a great attitude.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the daily operations of the property.
• Cleanliness of the grounds, pool, leasing office, parking lots/structures, and common community areas.
• Work Order response.
• The Turn and Make Ready process.
• Adhering to company policy, state and federal safety and fair housing laws.
• Hands on repair and upkeep.
• Report any safety or maintenance concerns to the Maintenance Supervisor.
