Job description

Basic Function

This position involves facility maintenance duties and customer interface. Previous experience is preferred but not required; individual must be able to perform with minimal supervision. Other duties may include equipment service and general housekeeping tasks.

1. Perform maintenance and cleaning tasks as per checklists and supervisor instructions to ensure cleanliness using brooms, mops, brushes, and other tools.
2. Walk the garage daily to identify and address maintenance issues.
3. Clean entrances, exits, stairwells, surface rails, and other designated areas.
4. Empty trashcans in the garage, booth, and office.
5. Paint facility areas as directed to maintain appearance and neatness.
6. Replace burned-out bulbs.
7. Manage oil spills with absorbent materials.
8. Submit repair or maintenance requests.
9. Check safety equipment like gate arms for security and proper function.
10. Inspect ticket spitters and gates daily for proper operation and appearance.
11. Record gate operations and maintain inventory of janitorial supplies.
12. Operate equipment such as sweepers, scrubbers, and outdoor tools.
13. Shovel, plow, or blow snow from ramps and designated areas.
14. Report safety hazards, policy violations, or unusual incidents promptly.
15. Practice customer satisfaction principles and assist customers as needed.
16. Resolve customer complaints independently or with supervisor assistance.
17. Be familiar with all operations and cover other duties as required.
18. Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to uniform standards.
19. Perform other assigned duties.

Education/Experience
