Career Strategies is hiring a Porter/Maintenance position for an apartment community in Kansas City, MO, to start immediately! If you are available to start work immediately, please reach out today!

Job Title:

Porter/Maintenance

Hours:

Mon - Fri, 8:00 am - 12:00 pm

Job Duties:

1. Maintain the grounds, amenities, building exteriors, leasing office, parking lots, and other community buildings of a multi-family residential complex.
2. Remove trash from office areas and the community perimeter daily.
3. Manage trash chute and rotate dumpsters.
4. Assist in preparing make-ready units, including trash removal from vacant apartments.
5. Support Maintenance Supervisor/Property Manager and perform assigned maintenance tasks promptly.
6. Help clean available apartments and models.
7. Assist with snow removal if applicable.
8. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, carpentry, and electrical issues.
9. Report maintenance concerns for repairs in apartments, models, clubhouse, and common areas.
10. Uphold all company policies, goals, and values.
11. Deliver communication documentation as required.
