Responsibilities

Basic Function - This role involves facility maintenance and customer interaction. Prior experience is preferred but not required; candidates must be able to work independently. Additional duties may include equipment servicing and general housekeeping tasks.

  1. Perform maintenance and cleaning tasks as per checklists and supervisor instructions to keep all areas clean and free of dirt, dust, litter, and debris, using appropriate tools.
  2. Conduct daily inspections of the garage to identify and address maintenance issues.
  3. Clean entrances, exits, stairwells, and surface rails on all levels, as well as the booth, office, and restrooms.
  4. Empty trash receptacles in the garage, booth, and office.
  5. Paint designated areas to maintain appearance, including poles, signs, doors, walls, curbs, islands, and gates.
  6. Replace burned-out bulbs and apply oil absorbent to oil spills.
  7. Report repair or maintenance needs.
  8. Check safety equipment such as gate arms and clearance bars for security and proper operation.
  9. Inspect ticket spitters and gates daily for functionality, ticket supply, and accuracy of clocks.
  10. Record gate operations and maintain inventory of janitorial supplies.
  11. Operate cleaning equipment and outdoor tools, such as sweepers, lawnmowers, and snow removal equipment.
  12. Remove snow and debris from ramps and designated areas using shovels, snow blowers, or other equipment.
  13. Report safety hazards, policy violations, or unusual incidents promptly.
  14. Practice customer satisfaction principles and assist customers as directed by management.
  15. Handle customer complaints independently or with supervisor assistance.
  16. Familiarize with all operations and perform additional duties like cashier or attendant as needed.
  17. Maintain a professional appearance and arrive on time in uniform.
  18. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education/Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent; experience in facility maintenance, electrical work, or painting preferred depending on the specific role.

License: Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.

Availability: Flexibility to work various shifts, including third shift and weekends if required.

Skills: Clear verbal communication, written clarity, customer service orientation, adaptability, sound judgment, professionalism, and physical ability to perform job duties, including lifting 50 pounds and working in various weather conditions.

Salary Range: $17.00 per hour
