Responsibilities

Basic Function: This role involves facility maintenance and customer interaction. Previous experience is preferred but not required. The individual must work with minimal supervision. Other duties include equipment servicing and general housekeeping.

• Perform maintenance and cleaning tasks as per checklists and supervisor instructions to ensure cleanliness and safety.
• Conduct daily inspections of the garage to identify and address maintenance issues.
• Clean entrances, exits, stairwells, and other surfaces using appropriate tools.
• Empty trash cans in all designated areas.
• Paint and maintain facility surfaces as directed.
• Replace bulbs and apply absorbents to oil spills.
• Report repairs or maintenance needs.
• Check safety equipment and operational status of gates and ticket spinners.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and keep records of maintenance activities.
• Operate equipment such as sweepers, lawnmowers, and snow removal tools.
• Assist with snow removal and other emergency tasks as needed.
• Report safety hazards or policy violations promptly.
• Practice excellent customer service and assist customers as directed.
• Familiarize with all operational aspects and cover other roles as needed.
• Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to uniform standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education/Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent, with possible additional skills in maintenance, electrical work, or painting depending on the role.

License Requirement: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Availability: Flexibility for various shifts, including weekends or third shifts if required.

Communication Skills: Clear verbal and written communication abilities.

Customer Service: Positive attitude and responsiveness to customer needs.

Adaptability and Judgment: Ability to handle change and make sound decisions under pressure.

Physical Demands: Ability to lift 50+ pounds, work outdoors in various weather conditions, and perform physical tasks including climbing, bending, and standing for long periods.

Salary Range: $15.00 per hour
