Premier Development seeks a Maintenance Porter for a luxury residential community in New Jersey. You’ll keep common areas clean, handle light maintenance, and support the team to ensure a safe, welcoming environment for residents and guests.

This is a full-time role requiring reliability, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and the willingness to work outdoors in varied weather. Training provided for right candidate; driver’s license preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience as porter, janitorial, groundskeeping, or maintenance preferred; training available for right candidate.
• Strong work ethic with attention to detail.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in varying weather.
• Reliable transportation and excellent attendance.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Driver's license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and appearance of all common areas including hallways, lobbies, stairwells, fitness centers, clubhouses, and leasing offices.
• Keep entrances, sidewalks, parking lots, and grounds clean and debris-free.
• Assist with trash and recycling collection; keep dumpsters and compactor areas organized.
• Perform light maintenance tasks: change bulbs, replace filters, touch-up paint, minor repairs.
• Assist with apartment turnovers and general property upkeep.
• Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to Maintenance Supervisor promptly.
• Assist with snow removal, salting, and seasonal property maintenance as needed.
• Deliver excellent customer service by interacting professionally with residents and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of all common areas, including hallways, lobbies, stairwells, fitness centers, clubhouses, and leasing offices.
• Keep building entrances, sidewalks, parking lots, and grounds clean and free of debris.
• Assist with trash and recycling collection and ensure dumpsters and compactor areas remain clean and organized.
• Perform light maintenance tasks, including changing light bulbs, replacing air filters, painting touch-ups, and minor repairs.
• Assist the maintenance team with apartment turnovers and general property upkeep.
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or property damage to the Maintenance Supervisor promptly.
• Assist with snow removal, salting, and other seasonal property maintenance as needed.
• Deliver excellent customer service by interacting professionally and courteously with residents and vendors.

Qualifications

• Previous porter, janitorial, groundskeeping, or maintenance experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate.
• Strong work ethic with attention to detail.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, climbing stairs, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Reliable transportation and excellent attendance.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Valid driver\'s license preferred.
